Beachbody Chief Legal Officer & Senior Vice President of Business Development Jonathan Gelfand was recently on the CBS Evening News in a story about counterfeiting – a big problem for the direct selling industry.
Gelfand stated that he and his team ‘went undercover’ and acted as pirates themselves – and discovered $75M a year in losses to counterfeiters. Nice gumshoe work, but disheartening news.
