WEBINAR SYNOPSIS:
What to Say When You Can’t Say Anything: Discussing New Approaches to Messaging for the Field.
For years, your field has been told “don’t say this!” and “don’t say that!” Indeed, nearly any word related to making money is potentially risky, and health messages related to products are similarly verboten. Compliance professionals have constantly been in a state of finger wagging and been inaccurately viewed as a barrier to success.
This begs the question as to how we improve the entire situation for both field members and compliance teams alike? What can honest field associates actually do to compliantly convey their own experience and the excitement they are feeling about their product and opportunity?
This webinar, hosted by Momentum Factor CEO Jonathan Gilliam, addresses exactly that. Our expert panel, including Erin Barta (General Counsel, Mannatech), LaRane Jensen (Director of Compliance, LifeVantage) and Rena Schultz (Sr. Director of Compliance, Xyngular), will define new approaches to promotions for field associates that not only meet policy requirements but help the field present their businesses with natural, compelling ease.

LaRane (Rane) Jensen is the Director of Compliance at LifeVantage Corporation. Rane graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Family Consumer Science and Special Education. While she planned to become a teacher, she quickly found a niche in the legal world while putting herself through college as a legal assistant and paralegal. She has cultivated her career in various legal specialties for the past 22 years, with the last six years dedicated to becoming an expert in Regulatory and Corporate/Field Compliance in the direct selling space. She is an active member of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society, Direct Selling Association, and is a Certified Direct Selling Professional. Rane lives in Utah with her three children and dog, Beau. In her free time, you’ll find her on her yoga mat or adventuring to the top of a mountain.
Rena Schultz has over 11 years of compliance experience in the direct selling industry. Early in her career, she was given the opportunity to be a part of a startup direct selling company, which challenged her to wear several hats in order to learn the functions of all areas that makes a company run. Along with the compliance side of the company, she also worked side by side with Independent Distributors supporting them daily as they built their businesses. This gave her the experience to see not only the corporate aspect of direct selling but also insight on the distributor and sales side. Rena’s experience in compliance and helping to build a startup company was key to building the compliance department and creating processes at her current role as Senior Director of Compliance for Xyngular.
