Back in October, Momentum Factor, a leading global provider of online risk mitigation applications and services, donated funds to Casita Linda in order to build a house for an impoverished family in Guanajuato, Mexico. It was just announced that the beneficiaries of this new home (to be completed by July 2022) will be the Trejo Ladrillero Family and that the first bricks for the new build are expected to arrive on April 24 for construction to begin!
This family of five is supported by their father, who is a mason, and their mother, who works two days per week making tortillas in the San Juan de Dios Market. The couple combine to make the equivalent of $400 per month to take care of themselves and their three children. This new home will go a long way in helping make a difference in the life of this family.
“We are so very happy to be able to provide another home to a family in need,” said Jonathan Gilliam, Momentum Factor Founder & CEO. “I can’t wait for the Trejo Ladrillero Family to move in.”
Of note, this donation marks the fourth home that the Austin-based firm will have helped build with Casita Linda since 2018.
